Carbon fiber inlays

Has this been done?
Would anyone be onboard for for such an embellishment?
Personally, i think that this would sell very well.
I'm not sure from a manufacturing standpoint if this would be something that would be cost effective but it sure would look nice coupled with the titanium on a 21.
What say you?

I think a 21 with inlaid carbon fiber inserts would be as big of a hit as the micarta have been. Now the question is what kind of style
carbon fiber would be the best. I love the lightning striker CF

I like CF and think it would work well on the CR knives, but CRK have stated, probably many times now, that they will not work with CF so that is the end of that.

That said...... I can't remember all the weave codes but I prefer the look of the twill and crowfoot weave paterns over the plain weave. You can get some really cool paterns as you cut through the layers. This is a quick pic of some stuff I have, I do like that random patern as you go through it........

That underlayer of the one Haze posted would be sweet.
