I know these are a dime a dozen.
I made this just as a small part of a trade with one you boys. It is black Twill 3k. Hand rubbed with some compound on a cloth just to remove any scuffs instead of a high polish it has a grippy low luster finish.
Does any body know what kind of carbon fiber does CRK use?

Is that a custom scale? I don't know about a dime a dozen, I am waiting for a large on the way from KA to go with my frankenseb small.

Yes I made it earlier in about 30 minutes. It is a Large.
It only takes a short time to make these. One drill bit does all the holes and the same counter sink as well. The most important work is the finish and bevel work. Mostly just want to contrast to a factory version. Just thought to share.

Does any body know the type of carbon fiber CRK would use?

Very Nice. I have been on the fence about getting one for quite some time now. I love the insingo blade shape, but have yet to get one. I have been torn between this CF one and a plain Ti one.

I prefer the Titanium. But it is nice to have options. I would get the TI and then just make a scale if you can. Really the aftermarket scales are overpriced for these. It takes half the time of any other folder. If you go for it. I can send you a small piece of material for you to make one. .185 Bit for the holes to not make any marks on the TI. Then use a .187 to make the perfect fit for the Body tubes. I have a 115 piece set # 13 and #12. Then a 80 degree countersink.
The Insignio is cool. I like the standard blade on my 21. But this thing is growing on me as I worked on it.

That's a pretty sweet knife... Can't wait to get it back :D you really did an excellent job! Thanks again!

Looks great !

I'm sure what type they use, but yours looks pretty close IMO.

Excellent work! I cannot believe it just took 30 mins.
Please could you share your method for drilling exactly the holes at their place? Thanks you for your post

I just use my Titanium handle as a template when people want one.
-Gauge pins to hold it in place/ some knives require a small piece of 3M double sided tape as well.
-Drill Press -Band saw - Home built router table with removable inserts for different bits -2speed 1hp buffing set up
That is about it.

They are currently sold out of the carbon fiber small insingos actually. That one looks great!

I'm waiting for a large lefty to pop up somewhere fulfilling the vision of carrying it in a horizontal sheath by Marek . I know...just talking to myself late at night trying to postpone going to sleep.

Thanks guys, I realize its all in the material.
It really speaks for itself.

Stand Straight. I am happy that you are getting the sheath from Marek. I knew it would only be a matter of time.
Take care and I hope your manix is holding up well.
Matt

Just got this knife in and Matt did a perfect job. Not to mention that the knife feels much lighter now. Definitely a happy camper, thanks again BellaBlades!
