Do you mean to tell me that you have a knife with a "Carbon Fiber" blade? Pardon my ignorance but this is the first I have ever heard of such a thing. I thought that they mainly used Carbon Fiber for handle material. Please give me a website where I can look at this Carbon Fiber knife. thank you

The knife itself is made from Carbon Fiber, there was some discussion of this back on Knifeforums when McClung still had a forum there, sandpaper was recommended. You could also ask directly on McClung's forum on Tactical Forums.

Well I guess you learn something new everyday. This is indeed interesting though because I have always had a fascination for exotic blades. I have been looking at Boker's ceramic bladed knives for some time now. Boker also has a couple of culinary blades which are made from Titanium alloy. I will do some homework on them and comment more later. Thanks again guys/gals:)

Guys - thanks for all your replies!

Here's a picture of a regular sized Frequent Flyer I got from the web. My knife is shorter.
