Simple question, can you laser engrave carbon fiber, and would it show up well.

I have ordered a Spyderco Police in CF and thought I might laser my name and badge number into the handle.

Anybody done it

Pictures???
 
You might be better off having the blade engraved with your name and badge number.
 
Never seen it done Devil but it's a good question. Might not work though if laser engraving involves heat at a high temp. CF is epoxy and it will melt sort of, it really kinds of just burns up and gets crispy. Be interesting to see.
