I recently bought a very nice custom from a respected maker and the pocket clip is made from very nicely machined G10, which seems to be something of a signature of his. I've also seen more and more the use of carbon fiber for pocket clips instead of the traditional steel or titanium. I'm just wondering if G10 or carbon fiber will hold up to regular EDC use or if I should baby it a little more than I usually have to with steel or titanium. Anyone have any experience? I'd just hate to carry it and snag the clip on it and not be able to get a replacement because it's a custom one-off knife.
