I just ordered one of those cf police Spyderco's. I wanted to find out what everyone's opinions are who have any experience with them? I don't have very much experience with Spyderco's except a J.D. Smith I bought a while ago and I was not very impressed with it, it functionally was good just not very comfortable to use. I decided to get the cf police because the carbon fiber looks really good. Anyone have experience with the J.D. Smith and cf police that could compare them?

Thanks in advance

I've never even seen a JD Smith.

I have a pair of CF Polices, a PE and an SE. I think they are really well made, really cool knives. Built very well, with a single liner and thick slabs of carbon fiber. The blade is light for its size, but still weighs a hefty 5.5 oz. That is the same weight as the all SS models. They are heavier then the G-10 models, which I like.

I barely use mine. I carry the spydie edge with me from time to time, but don't use it too hard. The Polices can take it, though, from what I have heard.

The knife just disappears into your pocket, despite the size.

I carry a CF Police lefty (SE) most of the time, and I love it's feel and balance. Compared to the JD Smith, I have to say that I like the ergonomics of the Police more. The Smith is an excellent knife, but the handle didn't feel quite as good in my hand.

I also have a Lefty SE and PE CF police
I carry the PE daily. I absolutely love this knife. Perfect balance, tight lockup, and I love the feel of the CF. Thanks to Sal for this great knife!
