I'm looking at a Spyderco Military. I like BG42 but are the carbon fiber scales that come on that model as grippy as the G10 scales? Please help me out. thanks.

I don't have one, but by all accounts, they're grippier than the G-10. Some people have found them to be too grippy.

Very grippy and too grippy, but I bet you're gonna love yours when you have it, because I definitely love mine. This knife rocks !!!!! Large blade, strong lock, great material, overall tough folder, and lightweight. What more can you ask for in a folder.

If you can find one, get it. Best large EDC available today.

in my experience, CF scales are grippier than those on the S30V model, but the g10 on the CPM d2 model is definitely the grippiest handle option i have ever seen...

on the other hand, it tears my pockets just like my Benchmade 520
