Even though I have always had lots of knives and always carry one on me(feel naked without one), I have never really considered myself a knife nut. I just recently joined this forum and had never even heard of a Chris Reeve Sebenza. As soon as I saw it, I fell in love and had to have one. Just last week I stopped by a dealer and picked up a Small Sebenza 21. Needless to say I was amazed at the quality of the knife. But now the bug has bitten me and I want more! I have been looking at the Spyderco Carbon Fiber Sage 2 as my next purchase and was wondering if anyone could give me your thoughts on it(good or bad). Thanks in advance guys!

Love it! Perfect back up or main EDC. Conceals well with the black slip it clip. No one ever notices. Perfect for dressing up also. Good steel. Great slicer. Solid lock-up. No issues. Smooth and fast deployment. Notice I am even selling my small sebenza insingo currently on the exchange. Ha It's light weight. Great shape. Can't go wrong brother!

I think I have seen pictures of a sage 2 with the carbon fiber scale from a sage 1.

I know that most people need to clean their screens, I'm just doing you a favor! :D

Snigel, you should see my son trying to kill it right now. Hilarious. He said, "it's inside daddy. How do we get it?" haha

^ Haha, awesome!

To stay on topic, the Sage series are great knives and you can't go wrong with either of them!

The CF Sage 1 is a really great knife. Light, and fits the hand very well for a 3" bladed folder. I carry one often.
