I have a gentleman that would like a cabon fiber handle. I really know little about this stuff and have never worked it before. I do know that it is extremely nasty to work with, though. I looked and found it in black and 1/8" thick. Is that it? I couldn't find it thicker or did I just miss it? Does it only come in black? Can it be doubled up (two pieces epoxied together) to thicken the scale? How do you finish it? Also, is G-10 the same thing?

This stuff seems pretty high tech for me...

Carbon fiber and g10 are different materials I dont know if you can double it up but you probley can but most knives that have CF should have Slim handles it looks good but it scratches after time i would make the knife have a slim handle and it will look smooth what type is it?

Get ahold of Gordon Piszar

I have some I bought from him I am using it for bolster on my prototypes I have be designing for the pst 3 months.
PS. a good way to work CF after rough shape is to wet sand it
with wet dry paper.
