So i will be ordering a super commander or cqc8 soon and i am looking to get the ti framelock which i have found but what about cf scales?

should i just make some myself and if so where can i buy the sheets to cut it out of? i've never tried before but imagine i could do it

although i would gladly buy a scale from a pro. . . only need the non locking side scale since the other side with be the framelock

It is easy to find sources of carbon fiber - google knife supply and look at a few of them. I just looked at three different ones that had various sizes and types of carbon fiber in stock; one of them has a huge selection. If you are handy with tools you should be able to do a reasonable job of making handle scales.

Make sure you research the hazards of working with carbon fiber. It's EXTREMELY dangerous and every safety measure should be taken when working with it. There is a good thread here on the forums. "Working with carbon fiber"
