For any owners of the CF (non numbered) seb's... what is the grip like compared to the regular blasted TI?

Was thinking about picking one up, but was curious if it was pretty slick.

Love to hear some users experiences. It was between this and a small Micarta.

I've seen a few videos from people but one had the numbered polished CF and the other one didn't really talk about grip. Most just say "grip isn't bad".

Also a little curious if the screws are sunk into the CF scale. In some pictures it almost looks like the screws rest on top of the scale. Didn't think that was the case, but in some pictures it definitely looks like that.
 
If grip is really important to you I'd go with the micarta inlays. I have a large Insingo with micarta and it fills the hand and retains grip quite well.
 
i actually think the feel on the titanium side and on the carbon fiber side are the same.
if i closed my eyes and felt both sides...i wouldnt be able to tell them apart.
as far as the screws..they are not sunk into the scale...not flush...they are raised like on the reverse titanium side.
 
The CF is slightly chalky to the touch--not glassy smooth--but not textured either. The real benefit is you're getting a full size, full strength Sebenza 21 at 3.7 oz. Less than a Para 2. Hands down the best knife purchase I've made since my first Regular years ago.
 
I have owned both the small and large non-numbered CF's and have to say jmsodpc's words are accurate in that the grip is about the same as on the ti. I love the benefit of a lighter weight knife for the size and when the scales are wet, the grip actually feels like it works better. Either the micarta or the CF are great knives and you can't go wrong whichever you choose. GL
 
I appreciate all the responses, that does help me a lot. Grip is definitely a factor, but I also love the weight of the CF lol.

I haven't tried out the micarta or even held one in the hand, unfortunately nobody stocks them around here.

I'm looking for a small in either one and left handed. I can't seem to find the LH Small Micarta anywhere.

Anyone happen to know a secret dealer that has some? If anyone does, please drop me a PM if you wouldn't mind. May try buying both and just sell the one I dislike.

The LH Small CF seems pretty accessible.
