Carbon Fiber Sebenza: Opinions Wanted

Hey guys, I just pulled the trigger on a Lg Sebenza 21 CF. I had a CF Inlay model that I absolutely hated because of the polished Ti. I also had a custom CF scale made that I was not a fan of. It was thinner than the opposing scale and it made the blade look off centered. I did like the lightweight, though!

How's the durability of the CF?

My CF 21 w/ basket weave is a sweet knife; very noticeable weight difference compared to my other Sebenzas. Couldn't go wrong with any CRK IMO.

The Carbon fiber is actually tougher than you think there's reason y people use it for car hood and spoiler!

Carbon fiber is an incredibly strong material; far more so than it's weight and lack of heft would lead one to think. The one real damage that can occur is chipping at the edges if you were to drop it, but no part of a knife is made to be dropped, anyways. Congrats on the new knife; it's a great choice!

I have an Lg Insingo with CF and absolutely love it to death. It's become favorite and the only I carry. I plan on purchasing a small but can decide with regular or Insingo blade.

Yes, my CF Insingo Sebbie is my absolute favorite blade I carry. Gone through 8 different Sebbies and this one has been my favorite. Awesome knife

Carbon fiber slabs hold up great. You will have no worries with one.

I think the CF looks great and holds up really well. I dropped mine on the concrete from about 4ft. It didn't chip just got imprints from the concrete surface.

I have a Grayman Dua w/ CF. It has similar construction to a Sebenza, ie: Ti lock side, bushings & bronze washers, 3 screw takedown, etc. on the presentation side, though, is a Ti liner (ala Hinderer) & then the CF slab over the liner.

Any advantages or disadvantage to this construction compared to the CF Sebenza?

The only CRK I have not purchased yet that I want is a cf small Insingo. I had a large micarta I traded for a Zaan, and the small micarta cf is calling my name...!

Looks like I don't have a CF Sebbie coming my way. The seller was supposed to ship it out Friday by 5 PM after we made a deal but instead sold it to someone else. Luckily I didn't send funds first because he had zero feedback.
