Carbon Fiber Sebenza question

To my knowledge there's been at least two different versions. Neither one I would call textured as far as it relates to being grippy. The first ones were smooth with a glossy finish. The second run are still smooth but with much less gloss.

Thanks guys. Can't do smooth on a work/outdoors folder so I reckon I'll have to grab a micarta. Now I just need to decide between a 21 & 25.

I rotate between the Umnumzaan and 25 for work. I use the 21 for everything else, personally it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling using the 25 over the 21. I'm sure the 21 will take the work just fine, I just don't use my 21's for work

I'm really pretty set on the 25 for that reason. My small 21 micarta is perfect for me away from work and I'm sure a large would be ok but I'd be more comfortable with the extra stoutness of the 25.

Sounds like a good decision.

I have a large and small micarta 21 and will be getting the 25 soon.

It is smooth but not slippery. Like AllanC said, the finish is matte. Feels good in the hand. The CF slabs on the more recent KnifeArt exclusives are rougher than the prior releases of their CF model.

Go with a micarta 25 and you're all set!

Although they are so good looking in person, you might not want to beat it up. Pictures do not do it justice!

But go ahead... a new knife is but a spa treatment away.

BTW there is a 25 plain on the exchange for a great price. Might just be the work knife you're looking for.
