I've always admired Ben Seward's carbon fiber handled knives - this is the first carbon fiber handled material I've used. All comments welcome.

Thanks a lot fellas - much appreciated :)

Might seem like a dumb question, but what is the reason behind the takedown construction? Is it for ease of cleaning, novelty factor?

Simply stunning knife, both in its construction and beauty, very well done.

Thank you - I'm glad you like it. The takedown construction is both for cleaning and novelty - some fellas like a takedown, some don't. They're challenging to make and hallmark a maker's skill IMHO. I like making a few every once in awhile. :)

I KNOW the quality of your knives. I'm getting squirmy over your photos.... ;)

Smart design and execution. Good for you!

I can imagine how intricate it must be building a takedown knife, everything having to fit together just right to make for a solid knife once assembled, very little margin for errror.

It certainly does a great job of showcasing your talent!
