I would Like to Order White or Silver Carbon Fiber from Knifekits.com

I Want to replace the handle on a knife or 2 with it. I have read about how to do it with Micarta and g10 and also exotic Wood.

I did One Project with desert Iron Wood and It Was Fairly Easy and Turned out Perfect.

My Question: Can I do this Project with a garage full of hand tools and grinders and Sandpaper? or Does Carbon Fiber behave differently and need Special treatment that only a Pro can do?

Out of curiosity, could you provide an exact link to the "white carbon fiber" or "Silver carbon fiber"?

I believe there is a grade of carbon fiber prepreg that has an aluminum layer on top made by Hexcel. I suppose somebody could process it into sheets and sell the sheets, but I've not seen it. Carbon fiber itself is black.
