Carbon fiber?

I'm wondering what some other knives with carbon fiber handles are... The main one I was looking at is the Spyderco Sage CF, it would be my first Spyderco.

What are some other well known CF knives?

Benchmade (Rift and some others), Klotzli (ACC), and SOG also use CF, just to name three more companies. Some individual knifemakers also use CF scales and a lot of aftermarket mods are done with CF.

I've been looking at a few cf blades:

The first two are hybrid knives. Carbon fiber/metal for better edge retention

This is non metallic. I plan to drop some coin on a hybrid blade sometime in the future.

Here is my Rift with CF scales. Theese knives are awesome, I have 4 more like this one, except for the bead blast job.

I also have a 3'' XM with a carbon fiber scale, but no pics yet.

Kirby Lambert Flare with CF bolsters.

Benchmade Goldclass 525-81 with CF

And lastly another XM 3.5'' with the Silver Twill, well that one is enroute.

The Sage and the Gayle Bradley both have the "Twill" CF, which I think is very nice. The Caly 3 has smoother CF that I didn't really care for. I looked at the Sage 1 and then bought the Bradley.

If you can find one the manix 2 in S90V came with CF scales i had 3 but now i'm down to two. Lone wolf makes a few CF scaled models like the lobo and paul defender which are very nice. I've seen a guy customized a few emersons with CF scales too. Found a buck not too long ago with CF scales for like $19. You can look for older Spyders too like civilians, harpy, delica, walker and the new Tim Zowada sprint will be CF. I'm a spydie fan BTW. I love carbon fiber scales ohh the stretch and superhawk too i almost forgot about those and i own them.

Is there a specific Gayle Bradley you guys are referring to?

I'm not a big fan of the ZT knives, they're a bit too fat for my liking. I'll take a look at the other suggestions too, thanks.

Spyderco Gayle Bradley

I myself have the CF Caly 3 and Sage 1
I like the Sage 1 a bit more.

I liked the Sage 1 so much, I picked up 2 more. :) I have a Gayle Bradley on order though. But I doubt it would replace the Sage as my EDC favorite. Good choice.

Where would I be able to get CF scales for my 710? I just saw one here from a search and it looked nice... I guess maybe it was a limited edition but thought maybe someone out there produced them.

There are a ton of people who would make you scales for your knife. Since the 710 is a pretty popular knife you could most likely contact a knifemaker and have him send you some scales for a fee.

ditto on the spyderco bradley smoothest spyderco i've used. this is expensive but its a marriage between kevlar & graphite. developed for jet fighters
