Hi All, I new to the forum and have a very little idea how to make some of the superb knives on here, this said I have occasional access to pieces of carbon fibre composite 7mm thick, approx 70 mm wide and approx 200 mm long, Q are these any use to forum members? also on occasion I have 40 mm or so dia bars up to 300mm long these however have slot in one end and a transverse 9 mm hole near the other,i have little idea of the value of these to knife makers but would to be willing to trade ,I am in rainham in kent ,My main hobby is woodworking.
hope this isn't to pushy or cheeky
Cheers
:)Chris

First off welcome to bladeforum. Your pieces of material sound like they could be useful and pretty interesting but its hard to picture exactly what they look like, you can use a free photo hosting site like photobucket or imageshack to upload your photos and then post the link here to share them.

On top of that you need to have a paying membership to be able to offer up trade's (tho any level membership can reply to trade's offers by other people.

Other than that I have some really beautiful pieces of select locally grown hardwoods, if you'd like to contact me using the email link when clicking on my user name...
