I was looking at some of the posted pictures of the new offerings from camillus. Not that the Mad Maxx or Fisk bowies are not interesting; but there also seen to be a new "carbon series" of slipjoints. The text did not show up too well on the poster so are there more informations like handle materials or what not? Many thanks.

Welcome to the forums. I have all three carbon series knives. They're great knives for the money. Steel is 1095 high carbon (not stainless). The slip joints are the stockman and the trapper. The single bladed knife is a cool little lockback. All have red faux (plastic) jig bone handles. The fit and finish of these knives are quite good and the price is excellent. If you are in the market for a new slip joint get these before you buy Cold Steel slip joints since CS prices are a lot higher for basically the same knife (email me for details if interested).
