Camillus just came out with their new Carbon Series. A trapper, a stockman and a small lockback.

Fit and finish are great. No blade play on any of the 6 blades. Polished bevels, NS bolsters, nice red delrin stag handles....all under $20 each. You just can't beat that.

Why buy another brand if you're looking for carbon steel pocket knives? They were probably made by Camillus if they are of high quality.

I just notice AG Russell has a run on some exclusive Camillus high carbons......

This is a niche that needs to be filled better than it is,in my opinion. I would like to see Camillus or somebody come out with some traditional pocketknives with carbon steel blades, higher end scale material, and great fit and finish. Delrin is great, but it would be nice to be able to buy a knife in traditional styling, carbon steel blades, and maybe bone handles.

I agree...I like delrin but it does loose something in the transition to a great carbon steel blade.
