Carbon vs G10

Hi XM-18 aficionados. Which is considered more desirable please - the 3" flipper in smooth Carbon or G10? Thanks kindly.

I can only answer with my preference and that's always gonna be G-10. Some tout CF as more high end but I've seen too many of them with cracks around the screw holes and fibers sticking out like nasty nosehairs, from the oddest spots on a scale. I'll take a well done G-10 scale on my folder any day. YMMV. :)

Dang it Rob- why do you have to go and post all those sweet pictures again? Pretty sure as long as you are taking/posting pics there will always be high demand for Hinderers! BTW- I like the looks of the smooth CF, but have only owned G10 in several colors.
 
Ta very much men. I've also had a fascination for Carbon - owned everything but. Carbon it is! The G10 is after all quite readily available from stores. But the carbon is hell of an expensive. But I'm sure I'll get G10 too - I just love the sexy milling on the XM-18 scales!!
