well, twelve hours ago I had no idea that I'd be the proud and humbled and grinning and dancing owner of a BA custom, or a KFU custom - but certainly not one of each!

Goddamit these are fine knives, guys!

I'll post pictures, probably another day before that tho, lotsa oil in the midnight lamp for now but for those of you who already have a KFU or a BA, I don't need go into details about how immaculately perfect these little blades are. And for those who don't - well, go and get yourselves one of each

I cannot thank you enough - and special thanks go to GriffinHawks for the superbly stylish matching old school sheath for the KFU wharnie, and Gnarly for devilishly masterminding the overseas care package project
 
you guys are amazing :) truly, really, no words can do justice to your kindness
I hope to one day come back as a paying customer for my further knives
until then, can you fill me in on some details like steel and wood material (both of those are remarkably beautiful handles, I love them both although they could not be more different) it's like the dark knight and the white knight, how epic! :)
I will try to take some photos as soon as work allows

god bless you guys, now excuse me as I go and play a bit with them blades :))

Both were 1095 steel i beleive mine scales were buckeye burl i dont remember what chris scales were
 
My scales were Bolivian Rosewood, 1/8 1095
 
love them already :) gotta remember these for future reference!

When I threw this idea out there....on EDCF & here...then both KFU & BA emailed me that they were each creating a one-of-a-kind custom knife for you, in premium ALDO 1095, I started getting kinda fluffy,almost like premature ej Nevermind then when KFU decided he'd get GRIFFINHAWKS involved in making the one-off sheath,and everybody started kickin in w/ more stuff I may have peed a few drops...IIRC.

Glad it made it thru Customs without tampering or thievery.
 
OK so apparently I left my camera-to-computer cable at my parents' place over the weekend, which means I cannot transfer the photos
doggam!
I'll try to think of a way to bridge this problem
