care/sharpening a TOPS knife?

Just got a TOPS Wolf Pup. Never had one with this black coating (Epoxy Hybrid Base with Polyester). Advice on care of blade & how to sharpen this type of edge. Thanks in advance.

Blade care/sharpening is just like any other coated high carbon blade. Sharpen it by your preferred method, Sharpmaker for me. Keep a bit of oil on the edge and anywhere the coating is worn, and you should be fine. Just be aware that if you rub the coating against the stone/ceramic/whatever while sharpening you will more than likely wear it off quite quickly.
