careing for yvsa's ycs's

hi all
now among my prize h.i. kuks are two cherokee specials (thanks yvsa) now i know wood handle treatment is usually straight forward but how do you guys care for the cherokee special with the diamond and ying yang inserts without softening the glue holding them in and there by loosing them.

Care for the inlaid handles should be the same as care for any other handle.

The inlays are bone. Mineral oil will work for both the inlays and the wood handle.
