I acquired this knife and am wondering if anyone has any information on it. I have yet to find a knife that is marked the same with a similar sheathe.

Its a Generic Copy of the more well Known Puma White Hunter, looking at the Etching on the Blade it would most probably be around the 1970's era, perhaps Schlieper made one before Puma but I doubt that, type in "Carl schlieper White Hunter fixed blade" which gave me this page here....

Carl Schlieper made some outstanding Knives, and their Earlier Knives - Folders and some Fixed are quite Collectable, if you are wondering if yours is of value? yours may not have the collectability of the very popular Puma- it could possibly be seen as a "Copy of" we cant discuss Monetary value here either because of rules.
