I have never been a big fan of folders, until I acquired my very first Carnivore.(Thanks Mitch)
This weekend I disassembled and cleaned up my new blade and I actually had fun doing it. I sanded the liners to a mirror finish, starting with a 320 grit wet/dry paper and finishing up with a 2,000 grit paper. I paid special attention to the pivot area and while reassembling used some Teflon grease on the pivot and now it is smooooooooth oh so very smooth.
It looks and functions so much better now and I have a sense of pride about my new toy.
Now I am looking to get another to compliment this one and I will definately rework that one as well.
A special thanks to those who provided me with direction and insight(Mitch and Paul) and making this task so much easier and enjoyable.
