Carnivour details?

Bob,

How about some details? Blade length, thickness, steel? Handle length, thickness, material? Clip material? Availability date and location? MSRP? Will the blade shape be the same as the prototype? Does the knife have an open back (partial spacer) or a closed back (full spacer)?

Bob, where can we order REKAT knives? Internet sites? I can't seem to find any.

We are in the process of switching to machine grind. Our contractor uses Berger 4 axis CnC pretty much a industry standard for flat grinding. The Carnivor is the first of our line to go to this. The prototypes were hollow ground. Because we use jigs the Crawford reverse curve wasn't possible in the Prototypes. So the blade shape will be diffrent from the one pictured on Blade Forums front page.
Blades will be ATS-34
Blade Length 3.75 inches
Blade Thicknes .120 inches
Handle Length 5.05 inches
Hard Stainless Liners
G-10 Scales
Pocket Clip is on the butt so its a Tip Up Carry
Open Back
Lock is of course REKAT Rolling Lock with the Slide Bar Release. The Rolling Lock also keeps the knife closed so no ball detents.

The Casper by a long way. The Cranivo rwas concived in Nov of 98 and Pat got right after it and we had a basic drawing in less than a month. We have modfied Pats design only to fit the mass production mode of manfacturing but other than the engineering for the rolling lock it'sall Pat Crawfords design.

How much do the Carnivors weigh? This is the one spec I haven't been able to find listed anywhere. I know REKAT knives tend to run on the heavy side, so I'm wondering if I'd walk with a limp if I had one in my pocket...
