I have just finished these and thought I would share with you.
this will be a standard for me as I like the shape and feel, I will be calling this one the "Carolina Cutter".
5" X 1 3/8" x 3/16" 1095 Blade and is 9 3/4" OAL
stainless fittings, stag and the other is ironwood.

Comments welcome

Both are very nice but I have to agree with Mark, the stag handle knife has that extra something that draws my eye. Great job.

Thanks for the comments guys.
I thought I would like the stag best, but when I finished the ironwood it just feels so good in the hand.
since this is to be a standard in my line there will have to be options.(different woods, stag)

I really like both knives. Are they blades forged? and would you consider making with a single quillion?

Both look awesome Mike! Very nice Handle profile in the Iron wood knife. that Stag one is Great also:thumbup:

That looks to be a very multi-functional knife design for the field. Not too large for hunting/skinning tasks yet hefty enough for some camp chores.

Though the stag piece is certainly nice, I prefer the ironwood as the handle shape looks like it would be very comfortable to hold and work with.
