Hi, Just finished this one for a friend that wanted kind of a box opening, string cutting utility knife.

3" etched O1 blade
Black Micarta with Carpathian Elm scales
7" O.A.L.

Thanks for looking and ANY / ALL comments welcomed and appreciated, Dave

Wow! I think this is absolutely wonderful! The blade shape is unique and it reminds me of Tucan Sam's beak (in a good way). Very, very nice work. The etching is a nice touch, too. -Stunning.

Schweet!

The blade shape is really unique but the whole knife actually has a good vibe going for it in terms of shape and proportion in my opinion.

That wood looks spectacular and adds a really gorgeous contrast to the micarta.

Nice work!

Thanks you guys, I really appreciate your comments. I wanted to use Ebony but I didn't have any and I thought this beautiful wood would look nice with the black background...Dave

I've liked every knife that I've seen you posted and this is no exception. I really like your choices of wood. You seem to pay alot of attention on getting a nicely figured specimen.

Great looking knife,,yet again. I'd love to see this same knife with a bolster.

Phillip :)

The handle is beautiful, and as was said before the blade is unique and looks very useful. Great choice of materials, it's nice seeing a folder in tool steel as well.

Thanks again for the very nice comments!!

Since he was going to use this knife opening boxes and other utility jobs, I wanted to give him a blade that he could choke up on so I dropped and curved the spine in front of the thumb rest for index finger leverage and more comfortable control with detailed cutting.

Temper, I might just do a duded up version of this knife, kind of a working man in a suit :p
