Just about got my gazebo in the backyard finished and next to a hammer and a cordless drill, the best tool I had was the Mean Street. Talk about handy!

I used it to pry boards apart, trim and plane the edges of boards, remove staples, cut banding, open boxes, trim screen, cut masking tape, cut sandpaper, open paint cans, trim shingles, etc., etc. That little sharpened spike just did it all and them some. I hardly ever took the small sebenza out of my pocket.

And so, to all outdoor folks, the knife is the most important item of equipment.

Hoodoo, you found out what I did a while back while doing some framing and drywalling. Those Mean Streets are handy little buggers to have around. My brother used my MS while he was doing some insulation work, and very reluctantly returned it to me.

I've used my Steel Heart to, um, "disassemble" (read "chop and hack") some old kitchen cabinet shelving that I couldn't get to with any sort of actual saw.

Busses make great housework and home repair and improvement knives. Hell, they should start carrying the Basic line at your local home improvement center. Home Depot, here we come!
