Carrot peelers

Im making chicken soup and my carrot peeler sucks. Does anyone do better peelers and grators?

Hmmm interesting... I’ll take a pic of mine if you want to give it a go. It’s the old fashioned kind, just a rigid blade but it works...

This is actually something ive been contemplating making at some point as most store bought peelers kinda suck. And as a lefty, i find majority of em don't even work right for me. Would LOVE to see if anyone on here has taken a stab at making a custom. If so please post some pics!

I’d look here. Not custom, but it seems like a lot of work to make a custom.

I have both kinds, straight blade and the wiggler. Guess what, its still a knife and need sharpening on occasion. When properly sharp, Be careful, You can peel skin off your fingers too.
Both work great, but prefer the wiggler. Then again, I dont peel fruit what the straight kind is better optimised for.

Would be easy enough to make one, but unless someone wanted to pay what its worth, I dont think I will...

I get ceramic peeler blades from my pen turning suppliers and make handles for them. They have the sideways pull type ( like a shaving razor) and the standard straight ones.
