Carry a custom?

After years of dreaming, I'm finally the proud owner of a custom CQC6! I first saw this knife in the mid 90's, and have been wanting one ever since. I never thought it would take this long, or cost me as much as it did, but my dream has been realized.

Now my question is, should I carry it occasionally? I tend to buy knives that I can use, and feel it would be a waste to just let it gather dust in my safe. After all, Ernie did design the thing to be used.

What do you guys think?

Sounds to me like you have the answer you need.

I agree, carry it, use it and be happy !

Whenever you draw the blade and hear it snick open, you'll allow yourself a little smile each time !

By all means, carry it & use it! You paid big $$$ for it, or maybe even bigger $$$$

Get your money's worth out of it. I bought a sweet one from Tatoo. Can't say it's an EVERYDAY carry blade for me, but it's with me alot, and it sure doesn't gather dust!

Use it and enjoy it! I understand you got a bargin on it,(

) and remember you can always send it in to Emerson to have it re-furbished.

Sniper308 is right. Emerson reburbishes your knife to look like new. He usually charges $20.00. Sometime he dosen't charge at all. The only thing about refurbishing is that he dosen't touch the blade (only sharpens if you request it) & it take about a month.
