Do any other knives offer this? Are there places where you can get a clip like that, or some other kind of design that lets the knife "disappear" completely into the pocket?

I really like the idea of the SR-1 clip, not that a knife sticking out a half inch is that big a deal, but to be completely invisible, I thinks thats awesome!

In case you dont know what the clip on the SR-1 looks like here it is:

Also, heres the link to some other pics of the knife, courtesy of Vege-Taco:

Spyderco perrin and buck vantage(pro is a great buy,sv30, american made) are 2 that come to mind.

depending on the knife you can have a custom pocket clip made, STR does a fantastic job.

here is the STR lowrider on my paramilitary

ESEE's upcoming HEST folder has a clip that looks almost identical to the SR-1 clip.

Mcusta also uses a similar clip, both on the Basic and the Tactility models

Lovely, but it makes it hard to pull the knife out quickly and easily, especially in a tip down carry. I prefer to simply not tuck my shirt in:thumbup:.

Aside from the already mentioned Buck Vantage Pro, there is also the Benchmade Pika and Mini-Pika that clips that can be set for deep pocket carry.

I buy some ti low rider clips from an online "knifemaker" shop that fits the benchmade 3 screw clip perfectly. Low ride clips on my mini grip, soon to be one on my nitrous stryker. and they even fit my CRKT folding Razel.

I'll be buying a few more since they work so well.

I think the Mcusta clip is the gold standard for that, since it's a fancy split clip and looks to the rest of the world like you have a fancy pen in your pocket. The wire clip on the Spyderco Caly 3 is also very nice.

Agreed. I have a Corian Tactility myself and it's one knife I can't let go of for some reason. I've sold a lot of knives I don't carry often but not that one. And the semi-dressed clip is very nice IMHO.
