Carry in Spain and Italy.

Got a good friend heading over to Europe for a 3 week long vacation. What are the knife carry laws for France, Spain and Italy?

I think in France, everything is illegal for carry except for slip joints.

In Spain, it must be less than 11cm, but is that a folder or fixed or both?

Nothing on Italy.

Any advice and comments would be greatly appreciated.

In Spain it is forbidden the production, import, circulation, publicity,
sale and purchase, holding and use of the following weapons or their imitations :

- All type of daggers
- Automatic knives

A dagger is considered a knive(fixed or folder) less than 11 cm of blade with two edges and pointed.

Is also forbiden the commercialization, publicity, sale and purchase, holding and use of the non automatic knives whose blade exceeds of 11 cm.
