Carry Laws in CA for Minors

I cannot find any mention of age in CA's knife laws. I'd assume then that the laws apply the same regardless of age (assuming you can buy one, ie: a store that doesn't have its own age minimum).

For a K-12 school, blade length is limited to under 2.5", although your school itself might have its own regulations (in this day and age, it might be a bad idea to carry a knife--even a 1" Swiss Army knife to school even if it is allowed).

I haven't heard of a specific age requirement either. I think as long as you follow local ordinances and not draw attention to yourself by doing anything out of the ordinary with your knives in public you will be fine.

I'm pretty certain that no students are allowed to have knives of any type or size at all on CA (public) school campuses (private schools may differ); any non-students (parents, faculty, etc.) have a restricted 2.5" blade limit.

I had no intention of carrying a knife to school, but on the weekends and on some weekdays I do work in which a knife comes in handy every now and then. I just don't want to learn the law at some McDonalds on the way home. Thanks for the help.
