Carry method for CrossCut or CrossGrip?

For those of you who carry a CrossCut or CrossGrip on you, how do you do it?

Is it on your keyring or pocket? In the vinyl sheath or not?

For me, getting the tools out of their sheaths is a clumsy process. I'm afraid, however, the gearteeth would quickly tear a hole in my trouser pocket if I were to carry the tools sheathless.

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Craig,

For myself, I carry my CrossCut (I have both gold and black TiNi versions) on my keychain. For neurotic reasons, I never carry my keys in my pocket.

The concern you raised about the tool's gears wearing a hole in your pocket has been shared by others, but consider that the teeth on keys (especially newly cut keys) are potentially more damaging to pockets. Just for thoughts...

Thanks for different point of view, Ron. I agree with you.
