How do you guys carry your Beckers?

I like to strap my BK9 to my pack, but I like to carry my BK2 on my belt.

I'm not much of a neck carry guy, so I carry my BK11 in my back pocket.

I recently ordered a BK7, so I'm eager to find out what works for me for carrying that specific knife.

For you BK7 owners, what have you found works best for you?

I always carry mine on my pack also, usually its a BK9 (Backpack) BK7 on my (Belt).

BK6 in hand or in the bag
Bk9 in hand or in the bag
BK2 on the hip
Bk14 IWB EDC, 3 o'clock, cross draw when I have the BK2 on
BK7 on the hip
BK5 kitchen drawer
BK11 in my brother's back pocket at the moment

With the new sheath that I just got, I plan on taking my BK2 out more. It was my most used knife, until about 6 mos ago, when I started trying out different knives for reviews and to broaden my skills. Enough of that for now, I'll get back to it in summer, when I don't go out much. Right now my standard "hit the woods" combo, is a BK9, BK2, and Bk14. The kit I am building right now for my new sheath, will be a basic Shelter, Fire, Water, Food setup, so, I really want to spend some time behind it to make sure its solid, as its the setup I plan to pitch to a few classes I have to teach next year.

I can't stand having anything draped around my neck, so neck carry is out the window. I do carry my BK9 on my hip around camp, but rarely on the move.

Hey Moose...I'm like you. Around camp, I'll wear the BK9 on my hip, but if I'm on the trail, it's on my pack.

I just don't like two things that long below my belt.;)

Heh heh, funny. Pretty funny. :D:thumbup:

My BK-11 hangs around my neck (wearing it now). My BK-2 rides horizontally on my belt to the left of the buckle (I'm right handed). Currently, my BK-9 rides vertically on my belt - usually on my right side. Still flirting with carry ideas for that. Anyone carry the BK-9 on a bandoleer?

BK-14 (now)/BK-11 (formerly) @ 11:00, horizontal, edge-up.

I'm still working on the BK-9 & BK-5 setups. I found the factory sheaths put the knives way too low on my belt.

I need to redo the flexible loop to go with the kydex sheaths they're in now. The balance on the BK-5 is such that a loop that starts at the hilt hits right at the balance point and causes the handle to move towards horizontal.

At the moment, the BK-9 stays in the backpack, the BK-5 usually ends up at 3:00, though it bugs me, and the BK-2 stays in the vehicle until I need a splitting wedge.

Anything over 4 inches is stashed in my pack side pocket. Small neckers, such as my BK14 is slipped into my pocket.

My BK2 will either be carried vertically, strong side, at about 7 oclock (yeah, I'm a Lefty), or strapped to my pack. My BK7 is carried the same way. My BK14...I don't know yet. Should arrive in the mail today...heeheehee...:D

Moose, how does the 14 work for IWB? how is it hung? now deep does it ride? oooh oooh ooh!?

The top edge of the sheath is right at the top of my belt. Here is a pic of the sheath and how it is done up. Its by far the most comfortable carry for me, and it keeps it out of sight.

Just put inside the waist band, fold the 2 para loops over, put your belt on and just put the belt through the loops. Just like a standard IWB gun holster.

How did you do the end of your handle wrap with no knot?

When you finish the wrap, cut both ends to where they just barely meet, take a lighter and melt both ends at the same time, once they go soft, press them down in the middle, and they fuse together, it keeps them from coming undone, and if you needed the cord in an emergency, you can just rub them on a rock or pavement for a few stokes and they come loose. Been like that since I got it, and that is the first one I know of that went up for sale. CRKS on the day of availablility. Been with me ever since.

bk11 on left pack strap, vertical when the radio isn't there. (the right side has to be clear to mount a long gun when hunting)
folding pocketknife at 7-o'clock almost always, but sometimes a different one clipped to the left side cargo pocket while hunting.
