I found this old Buck knife and have no info on it . The blade has 0751/1000 on it so I know it's a limited edition. But other then that I know nothing. I don't want to carry and use a collectors knife but if it's just a good ole Buck I'll carry daily . Any info is appreciated.

Those cut out knives aren't really good users. Usually more for collecting.

Using them, they get dirtier, and come time to sharpen, puts the edge closer to the cut out.

As well as the bottom of the cut out making the blade weaker at that point.

A good user 110 user can be had pretty much anywhere for around 30 bucks..

just my two centavos worth...

As others have mentioned there are better 110's for daily carry/use. If this were mine I'd either sell it as there are those that collect these models that might be interested or better yet. I'd consider it the flagship of the new 110 collection I was getting ready to acquire.

Welcome. Your 110 is from Buck's 'Battling Buck's' series. Don't use it. Put it as a safe queen. DM

Thanks for the input guys . And Badhammer, your %100 right about it being my #1 for my collection

I could see polishing it up and carrying in a nice sheath as a "BBQ knife" but I wouldn't put it to hard use as others have mentioned. Or, leave it on the shelf for looks.
