Thought it would be interesting to compare my weight fresh out the shower and fully loaded for the day.

I've often wondered how much all my junk weighs. I think I'll go give it a shot now...

Edit: 6 lbs of stuff... Add in another 2-4 depending on clothing... Interesting to think that I'm actually 10 lbs lighter than I feel on a daily basis. :p

When I'm working, it's about 12 pounds. Gun, ammo, radio, ASP, pepper spray, cell phone, knives....

However, when I'm not working I like to go as light as I can. We used to allow 5-7 pounds for clothing alone when weighing GIs back when I was a medic... Including combat boots.

When I was going to Weight Watchers, I had to carry a Man Sack to de-load myself before weighing in. The Ruger SP-101 in my pocket weighs 1.75 lbs by itself. I generally try to carry the lightest items with the most utility, but it all adds up.

Hope you are doing okay, CM.

I went hiking yesterday and weighed everything when I got back -
Bag: 16lbs
Clothes and pocket /belt gear, including leather boots, hat, & jacket, pistol, etc.: 20lbs

For my daily gear I like heavy stuff like a zt300 and a stainless steel flashlight.
But you wanna talk camping gear I go ultra lightweight my pack with 92 ounces of water weighs 16 lbs.

I went on a long run in the summer and started at 155lb, added all my running gear food and 2 liters of water and was at 165, after the 5 hour run still in gear I was 148lb LOL!!

Dehydrated is no where near how I felt, took me 3 hours to take a leak after drinking huge amounts of water..

Sorry unrelated but thought it might be funny!
