Carrying 4 knives - have to chuckle

I have to chuckle because I used to laugh at carrying say more than 2 knives. I just realized I have 4 on me, BM 750, LCC, kneck knife, Buck stockman. Hmmm, I've become one of them...

A knife is by default a tool, it's only a weapon when a human chooses to make it so.
 
Hm, carry today was:
Right front pocket Emerson Commander (what else?).
Left front pocket: MT UDT and SOG Nightvision.
Around neck: Emerson La Griffe.
At belt: Leatherman Super Tool, Micra in pocket!
In right back pocket: JSP Credit Card blade.
In jacket right pocket: CRK&T KFF.
In jacket left pocket: Spyderco Native.

That's it! can't have too many

My knives!
 
Carrying four knives is something to chukle about. Who would carry so few knives?
 
I always carry a Small Sebenza, a Microtech LCC, and an Emerson La Griffe. Sometimes I carry a couple more just because I haven't carried them in a while.

My daily "carry group":

Cold Steel Extra-Large Gunsite.
Cold Steel Medium plain Clip-Point Voyager.
Leatherman Micra in my key wallet.

...And sometimes my Cold Steel 6 inch Stainless Tanto in an On/Scene Tactical Concealex IWB sheath, when I'm feeling frisky.

I always wear my Leatherman Supertool (or Schrade Tough Tool) on my belt, and La Griffe on a neckchain.

I was out for a stroll today, and felt really lost because I didn't have a "real" knife with me, some kind of fixed blade or tac folder like my Sebenza or Benchmade Emerson. So now I'm just leaving the Cold Steel Vaquero Grande in my backpack. That way, I'll always have something to fall back on.
 
Current carry for me:

William Henry International Wharncliffe in ClipCase right front pocket, SAK Classic inside right front pocket, Micra left front pocket, William Henry Lancet in shirt pocket, and Spyderco Rookie in right jacket pocket.

I used to think one knife was enough, too. Then I found BladeForums and saw the light

I like to see this thread pop up every once in a while, JKM used to call it "what has we gots in our pocketses".
Lately it's been, Dozier FH in right front pocket, SAK in left front, Swisstool on belt left side, Sebenza on belt right side and large Dyad in right rear.
I need more pockets.

2. Spyderco Endura or Native
3. Wenger SAK
4. CRKT KISS as money clip
5. Leatherman Micra on keychain

I usually have three, but have been known to carry six.
You aren't counting the ones kept in vehicles, tackle boxes, hunting vests, etc., are you?

I have my Micra in my watch pocket, Spyderco Viele right front pocket, G-10 Harpy right rear pocket, and small Buck(Wenger) SAK right front w/change.
 
Right front pocket: BM 720
Left front pocket: Leatherman pulse
Watchpocket: small SAK and #6 Opinel
Left backpocket: billfold with a flat survival tool
Coatpockets: Large SAK, small Sebenza

It changes daily, sometimes more than once in a day. But I usually have from 3 to 5 on me at any given time.

Carrying knives is one thing, but when you have trouble falling asleep because your pillow feels lumpy from all the knives under it you know you're in trouble!

Ok, Ok ... I just got Normark's carbon fiber pattern concealex sheath for my WM-1, so now I have four on me. The WM-1, large and small Spyderco Wegners, and my SAK Cadet. I guess I better start avoiding large bodies of water.
