Carrying a Belt Knife on a MOLLE/PALS Belt?

I have a nice knife on a leather sheath that I like and I want to carry it on a backpack that has MOLLE/PALS webbing on the hip belt. Is there some kind of adapter I can buy to make this work? I did some searching and it seems like there are adapters going the other way, and ALICE adapters, but nothing quite like what I'm looking for. Can you prove me wrong?
 
If the belt loop is wide enough you can slip it on like on regular belt but if not maybe some sort of large carabiner could work?
 
I found this via google fu. I have no personal experience with it.

Malice clips are a pretty good way to adapt stuff to other stuff.
