Hey guys!

I got a CQB-1 some time ago and have tried just about all the carry methods the excellent sheath, TekLock and IWB strab makes possible. Haven't found one that is truly comfortable though! (I'm a fat bastid, which makes it even more difficult!:D)

So, you CQB-1 owner, how do you carry your knives?

Oh...love the knife, BTW! Feels and looks great!

Thanks Execution Style!

Dunno if I'll be buying one, but the shoulder sheath looks like the way to go!
Might try to make one myself since I'm pretty happy with the sheath and only need the webbing.

Not a prob. The sheath is pretty dang nice for a "stock" factory sheath.

I do love my Survival Sheath Single Shoulder Sheath Light though. After Christmas comes, I'll get me a Double one to hold two Al Mar SERE Operators.

I go home to Texas quite a bit. Their weapons' laws suck. Not as bad as other states thank God, but they could be better. Legal length in Texas is 5-1/2 inches.

I like the concept of the shoulder sheath! Of course with our knifelaws, I would probably end up in jail if I carried it like that in the city and for some freak reason should get in trouble with the police!
If the new proposed law passes, it will be forbidden to carry even a small folder in public here (Denmark).

I carry MY Camillus CUDA CQB-1 in the supplied kydex sheath, IWB, using a "G-clip" that I got from On/Scene Tactical a few years ago...This works very well for me, eventho I'm sort of a fat bastard.:).

Hey Dann!

Funny you should mention it, cause I have a Normark sheath with a G-clip I have thought about trying out with the CQB! I think I'll try and see if it works for me! Thanks!

For me works great behind right hip IWB or SOB.
Also can get away with front of hip IWB.
Not a fat bastard, but you think that would help with carry options.
You could always just fold it in a roll.

Ack sorry!

Hehehe!:D Yeah, that would be the ultimate concealment, but not quite that fat a bastid yet!

Dann,
Just tried the G-clip yesterday and it works pretty well! Feels a bit more secure than the supplied IWB strap, methinks!

I really like the kydex sheath with G-clip as it's secure, but is quick and easy on and off the belt, and it can even be worn without a belt, such as when wearing sweat pants.
