Carrying a fixed blade concealed in NC?

I'm being offered a David Farmer fixed blade for trade, handle about 3 inches and blade like 2 1/2. Ideally, would carry it in the pocket, but I've never owned/carried a fixed blade before and am unsure of the legality of it. I've read the laws and they mention bowie knife, dirk, dagger and such, but those terms are kind of vague. Does anyone know for certain the legality of it?

Thanks for the post. That one seems to say similar things to what I've read before. Still unclear about the legality of it.
