Has anyone got a good solution for carrying a knife that doesn't have a clip? I've got a Microtech auto on the way that doesn't come with a clip (nor a way to mount a clip) but does have a lanyard attachment hole (with a small paracord . I was thinking a small piece of paracord with a small clip on the end that will hook to the pocket of my jeans. Has anyone done this or seen it in action? Workable? What clip are you using? Basically I'd like a solution so that it doesn't slide down into the bottom of my pocket.

Your idea sounds like it would work. Might turn out a little wonky with the clip on the end of a lanyard hanging from your knife.

I'd just get a nice kydex belt sheath made up for it. Maybe even a neck sheath if the knife's light enough.

If you're mechanically inclined, you could always drill and tap screw holes and put a clip on it.

Gah, I'm trying to find it to show to you. There's an item I've seen before, which looks like the top third of a ball point pen, which has a clip on the bottom so you could tie a small loop through it, and then loop it through the knife's lanyard hole. This would keep it clipped. Stand by, trying to find it.

BAM! There it is!!

I think if you are a little handy, you might buy a U-shaped deep carry clip and drill it out so that you could bolt it thruough the lanyard hole..
Maybe...?
