I have 2 unique smalls, a 21 and a regular. I can't stand to have the knife in a pouch in my rf pocket in a horizontal position....

I don't carry anything in my rf pocket except a knife, usually a large 1 with a clip. The regular is lnib so I almost have to use the pouch.

Am I the Lone Ranger about not liking a pouch horizontal in my pocket ? Any suggestions about how else to use the pouch without it being horizontal.

I carry a se dragonfly in my lr pocket all the time.

I edc a very nice unique with a star inlay. I did the pouch thing the first day it came in the mail, then clip carry every day to build character and use it like any other knife.
As for the pouch, get a large and it stays more vertical on its own.

I've been carrying with a pocket sheath long enough now that it doesn't annoy me when the knife gets turned side ways. It did at first, but then I prefer a worn look and try to not contribute to the growing snail trails that will happen anyway.
I have a Hugh fear of losing a CRK using the pocket clip. Weird, I know.

I will carry in a pouch sometimes, and clip sometimes. For me, it depends on my mood and where I am going. As for the horizontal movement of the pouch, I only pouch carry my sebenza in pants with a coin pocket that holds the knife upright.

I almost ordered a sheath. At work in dress slacks I wanna start pouch carrying to keep it more low key but not gonna do it if it won't stay vertical. Glad I read this post.

Most of my work/dress pants (cotton or wool) have that "change" pocket built into the bottom of the right-hand pocket, and that is the perfect size & location for a small size 21 in the calfskin pouch. Even the large pouch fits in those pockets. That holds the pouch vertically and with no movement when walking.

Having some skill with a sewing machine I've been tempted to try and sew one of those pockets into my jeans because I don't like the horizontal position, but not enough to make me do it yet.

I have a sheath, made of old jeans, which has a seam, that makes the whole package wider than just the small Sebenza alone.
So basically I made a slip-sheath that was to wide and then put a seam line in, so that the knife sits well.
Insted of cutting off the rest, it now stabilizes the knife in a vertical position in the front pocket of my trousers.
This works with Jeans; when wearing a suit I use a belt sheath.

I liked the idea of a pouch, but like you, when it turns sideways it drives me crazy. I'm constantly adjusting it, and that kinda defeats the purpose of deep pocket carry. Everybody knows I'm messing with a knife in there. Turns out that I strongly dislike it pouch or no.

My solution was to buy a handful of Arcteryx pants (I think the model is "Bastion Pant"). There is a vertical phone pocket on the lower-right leg that is perfect for clip-less carry with a large Seb. I don't think anyone notices that it is there, and the top of the pocket has a corner that keeps the knife from falling out if you sit deep in a chair. I highly recommend it. Easy to grab the knife too.

I only have a pouch for the small and only put it in there if it's a dressier situation. It is aggravating when it turns sideways, but the best I can do is put my phone in the same pocket to try and keep the knife upright if that makes any sense.

Mine slips down into horizontal a couple of times a day. But I don't see the big fuzz in just reaching down and setting it up again if I bother at all. I'll just might do it before sitting down.

I really dont think they do.. In general people pay very little attention to others, and what someone might have in one's pants is probably far down the attention list.
