Hi everyone,

I was wondering if you guys keep specific tools or knives for a specific purpose.
As an example, I always keep a knife that I use for food only (most of the time a folder that I keep clean) and another tools for other things (less clean) like opening packages or carving wood (multitool or sak), I also tend to keep a knive untouched (clean and sharp) at all time, etc ..
I'm also interested in the philosophy behind your choice ...
If you do so what would be your set up ? (pics are welcome :))

Thanks
Joe

I try to do the same thing. I have a SAK Rucksack and hiker that I just use mineral oil that I keep in the kicthen for food preparation. I carry either a spartan serrated or bantam for EDC along with a ZT560 for everything else.

I do this as well. I carry a paramilitary 2 for food prep or when I need a razor sharp blade to slice somethin.
I also carry a Vic. Executive for the tools it has, along with a Leatherman Squirt for the same reason.
Lastly I carry a smaller, budget folder. Lately I've been on a kershaw kick. I have been put the smackdown on my OD-2 I prefer 8cr13 for this knife roll as well. It's soft enough to hone on my strop or even a pair of dirty jeans and some elbo grease will get some edge back if I need it sharper. It also gets a super fine edge as well and holds it decently and will hardly ever chip out. just roll or dent.

Figured I'd just do an edc dump while i was at it.
