Carrying the Bullnose (GEC 71) in the pocket, is it's butt too fat? Compare to 73?

Looking at getting a 71 maybe, but they look really, really thick, especially at the butt. I like to just toss the knife in the pocket, and the 71 might be way too thick for comfortable carry. I carry a Northfield 73 right now, and it's fine. How does the 71 compare to a 73 at the butt, and overall when closed in the pocket? Of course, a couple of pics or an actual measurement will help my decision. Thanks.
My 73 today:

Not sure but being made of delrin you can shape it very easy. I plan on doing some sanding on my hayin helper soon to thin it out and maybe drill some dots for traction.

The pins will get in the way of thinning much though, unless you sand them down too.

Thats what i planned, not an issue for me. I dont remember the end of the bullnose flaring but its been awhile since I owned one. Hopefully someone will give you atleast a measurment to go off of soon.

here they are,it's more of butt head than fat ass ;) (couldn't help myself)

Thanks for the pics. Exactly what I was looking for.
It looks like the Bullnose might be too thick for me.

I have mine in my pocket right now. It's fine for me.

A fatter, rounder handle is easier on the hands when you are cutting open feed bags all day. They are also easier to use with gloves.

That's true. I may get one anyway. Heck, I have a ton of knives I don't carry regularly. My 73 works for chicken feed bags:)

I just carry mine in one of my front pockets - even the one I have a GEC bail on.
