A pic of my Carsons. The second pic is my stag ones. The small model 4 with stag and damascus is from the recent Blade show.
If you've handled Kit's knives you know they are all smooth as silk and come from the hands of a great maker.

Dayum. . .that's waaaaayyyyyyy too much eye-candy ! In fact, I think you gave my eye a cavity with those two pic's ! :p ;) :D

Extremely nice grouping Lifter !

Very cool Dave!
Next we gotta get JR in here with pics of his Carson's.

Pretty sure that there's a law against one person owning so many Carsons. ;) :)

Extremely sweet collection, Dave!

Someday(hopefully, soon), I will own at least one model 4. Might even be a fancy one. ;)

Way too sweet Dave, but I do not think that is all of 'em. Where is the auto? ;)

Fantastic collection, Dave! The three stag knives are incredible.... Thanks for sharing!

Thanks all! I think this thread is a good parallel with the one Bastid has going today about not buying from jerks. This is just the opposite.

Off topic: GeneL, where the heck you been????!!!!!!!! Good to see you post bro!

I'm lovin' it! ®

A perfect 'Ten'! :)

Dave,

That is a very enviable collection. I have 5 of the M4s I believe, I lose count. I got a few others in the mix too. I wish I had a camera to get some pics, but it will be a while. Teachers pay pretty much sucks.

Collection is looking good, Dave. I counted 10 knives there. Next month, I will be caught back up with ya. Selling off some of my Carsons is what gave me the cash for last years Blade and moving expenses to my new home in Florida. I gotta catch back up now.

JR

In the pic that has 3 knives, I like the one on top with the Damascus blade. A nice looking small knife.

Maybe one day ...........

Great knives, Dave! Kit is the MAN! It never ceases to amaze me how solid and well made his stuff is but never over the top.

Phillip :)

Kit brought that one to Blade a few weeks ago for me, somehow he got the idea I might like stag:D The other stag model 4 is one I sent Kit the stag for to have put on another knife and he decided to build me a new one. Thanks Kit!

I got the stag model 21 very recently from Mr Notdos who posted right above me here. Thanks Phillip!

Two of them are actually early pre-model 4 knives from the early 90's, the ones with black micarta handles and BB blades. I got both of these at different times from Bob Neal. Back then Kit used to put the clip much lower so that more of the knife stuck out of the pocket. Amazingly, he threaded titanium rod, filled the old screw holes and reblasted so that you really cant see them without a loupe, and mounted the clips higher. I better say he doesnt do this anymore so he's not over run with requests:D

The bulk of these knives I got through the efforts of Larry Brahms(Bladeart) and Seth Rosen, 2 good friends. Thanks bro's!

The large spearpoint with the elephant ivory handles is mine because of a friend called Miguet on this forum. He had 2 of them made, the only 2 that there are, and he was nice enough to offer me one at his cost. Thanks Mike!
I believe he sent the 2 knives with the ivory to a gent at Colt named Mike Poulin who is well known for his checkering. After the ivory was shaped and checkered the knives went back to Kit for final finish. It really has to be seen to be appreciated. I take the scales off and soak them in mineral oil twice a year(when we change the clocks) in hope the ivory will stay pristine and not change size.

Gotta say, along with the knives, the friends we make in this hobby are just as awesome.

JR, I know you'll be getting more soon, you're a hopeless Kitaholic too.

The friends I have made through knives and knife forums never cease to amaze me. Due to the very unselfish efforts of my friend NC Blades (Michael), this knife is now enroute to me:D:D:D:D:D
