Boy oh boy! This is a knife. I just got the large model 16 I had ordered from Les at www.robersoncustomcutlery.com and I think it is a keeper.:D I've had a couple of the model 16's and an 18 before but they were of the all ti construction. Nothing wrong with that but the ti bolstered and G-10 slabbed handle on this one has a different feel and a feel I like! I can see this one becomming an edc along with my large Classic sebbie. Just a standard model, nothing fancy. Just excellent workmanship throughout. Blade centers perfect when closed. Tight as my seb when opened. Fit and finish are standard Kit Carson, and those who own a Carson KNOW what I mean. Liner comes over and is just covered by the left side of the blade tang with just enough "sticky" to assure you it is there to stay until you decide to unlock it. Blade is stamped on the right side with steel type, S30V, and it just pops the hair off. I had forgotten just how nice and clean a knife Kit makes.

You know, I still atatched to my Sebbies and will not be swayed from them:D but I can see a couple more Carson's finding room at my house!:D  :D

Getting ready to head out for the beach for a week and this will make the long trip more satisfying and give me something to show off at the couple of knife places I am aware of and will be visiting!  :)

have to agree. I have one with a Stellite 6K blade. It is perfect in every way and wickedly sharp.

Been carrying the Carson 16 all week and all I can say is it is EXCELLENT! It carries without a problem, no print or problem with clip holding it where I put it. The S30V steel cuts and cuts and cuts some more. Action has been tightened to my liking, which by most standards would be too tight, and the knife still just glides open without a hitch. Great knife and I have my eye out for another Carson in the near future!:D :D :D
