Took a bit of plotting and cajoling (i.e. begging... and my knees still hurt) to get this one. Didn't hurt to be related to the previous owner of this beaut.
This Carson M16 has an OAL of 9&7/8" and a blade length of 4.25". The stellite blade is 3/16" thick. I am assuming this is an older model M16 since most of new ones sport larger drilled center holes in the handle.
The knife is very comfortable in the hand, has smoooooth pivot and the linerlock is perfectly and solidly resting fully on the left side of blade tang. Yeah, no problem with the "spine whack" test.
Taking this the Cape for salt water fishing this weekend. Hopefully, a fish worthy of this knife will commit suicide on my hook.
