Carson!!!!

Great looking knife Dex.Kit's mod.4 has such a great feel to it, it just forces you to use it.:)

Dexter, very nice knife. I just can't wait until my number turns up with Kit. A few questions for you. What blade shape is Kit calling that, modified drop point? Also, I am guessing the handles are linen micarta. What shade of green is that on the handles? The reason I ask is because I like very much, and what I see on my monitor may be different from others. Are there any notches on the top of the blade where one would place their thumb while doing cutting tasks? By the way, did I say that was a very nice knife?;) :)

Big D1 - the blade shape is a plain ol' drop point. If you see any of Kit's knives with a drop point with a hump in the blade spine, that is what he calls a modified drop point. Yes, the scales are linen micarta, a dull green color. Actually, they are more like a dull olive color. There are no notches on the blade spine. Thanks for the compliments!

Andrew - let's see...this medium Model 4 joins a healthy Carson stable: large modified drop point M4, BAK, large ti M16A1 flipper spearpoint, small F4, and a one-of fixed blade modified drop point hunter and a one-of wharncliffe neck knife. I still don't have enough Carsons.... :D
